Our PURPOSE is to Pursue God, Love People and Make a Difference.

Our goal is to make a difference in our community, and around the world.

The Open Cupboard, led by Roseanne Anderson, has been a light in the Osceola community for decades.  They provide food, household items, school supplies and children’s winter gear for those that are struggling to make ends meet.  They also head up the Backpack Program in the Osceola School District, which allows students that qualify to take home a backpack of food for the weekend.  CedarBend Church has been partnering with the Open Cupboard for about a year prior to our launch, and will continue to support them monthly, as well as when specific needs come up.

Community of Hope Haiti, led by Brian and Heather Tucker, is a ministry and mission on the southwest side of La Gonave Island off the coast of Haiti to the village of Grand Vide. Their main mission is to see and equip the next generation of believers (youth), to walk in the fullness of Christ's power through His Holy Spirit and Love. They believe in training and equipping the person in many areas of life, so those from impoverished communities can learn how to make a living as they live a surrendered life in the places they are sent to. Our church has been supporting the Tucker family monthly.
