What is a Life Group?
A life group is made up of people who share similar interests, are in the same stage of life, or want to learn from each other. People gather for all sorts of reasons whether it is playing a sport, spending time at the park, having lunch during the work day, or studying the Bible together. The point is not what you meet about, it's that you are regularly meeting with people and living in community as God designed you to do.
Why Life Groups Exist?
Life Groups have one, simple purpose - to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in community with others and only then can we experience the full lifeHe intends for us. Meaningful relationships can be hard to find, and that's why life groups exist - to make life - changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.
Why Life Groups Exist?
It is through life together that our problems become smaller and God uses others to bring support and encouragement to our lives . Even when you might not realize you need it, your life group will quickly become a place where others don't just know your name, but care about what is happening in your life and want to support you in your spiritual journey.
Frequently Asked Questions
How Do I choose a group?
What about childcare?
Life Groups are for adults, unless noted in the group description. We leave it up to each family to work out their own childcare. Sometimes it works best for families to share a sitter or to swap childcare with another family whose Life Group meets on a different evening.
Our Life Groups are arranged by Station-in-Life (common life stage) or Interest. These headings are meant to assist you in finding a group of people in a similar life stage or with similar interests. Keep in mind, you may fit into more than one Station-in-Life, so take a look at all the groups that may apply to you. All of our groups have a description designed to give you an idea of the leaders and the feel of the group.
Yes, whatever a person is like, I try to find common ground with him so he will let me tell him about Christ and let Christ save him. 1 Corinthians 9:22
